Maeliosa Barstow
Maeliosa joined the firm in 2022 and is currently working on an addition at Harvard Medical School. She has worked on the design of a new building for the Rice University Jones School of Business, TheĀ Green-Wood Cemetery Welcome and Education Center, and the drawings for the forthcoming ARO Book. Maeliosa actively contributes to a three-year-long graduate-level research studio series at MIT taught by the ARO principals. Before ARO, Maeliosa worked with AS_IS Architects in San Francisco. She was instrumental in the design team for an exhibition recently on display at the MAXXI National Museum in Rome and at Princeton University, entitled, Resilient Coasts: Forests and Adaptation. She has also been published in Pidgin. Maeliosa holds a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.Arch from Princeton University.
