Daylight Hour

Daylight Hour is Building Energy Exchange‘s (BE-Ex) annual social media campaign to promote reducing energy usage in offices. The Hour is timed near the summer solstice to maximize available daylight. Natural light and a skyline view is the daily standard at the ARO office, and the team has participated annually since 2014, earning a few awards along the way.

In 2020 and 2021, ARO was working remotely and took part from parks and home offices, “rays”ing awareness from coast to coast in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Baltimore, Brant Beach, Garrison, Westchester, Inwood, the Upper West Side, and every pocket of Brooklyn.
