Jay Schairbaum

Jay joined the firm in 2021 and has since worked on The Green-Wood Education and Welcome Center, The Frederic Church Center at Olana State Historic Site, a new archive for the Vilcek Foundation, the adaptive reuse of a bank building into a new arts and education hub at Saint Ann’s School, and managed the construction phase of ARO’s new office in Downtown Brooklyn. He is currently working on the 79^th Street Boat Basin Dockhouse. Prior to ARO, he practiced with LTL Architects and has experience working for firms in Chicago and San Francisco. Jay holds a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and an M.Arch from the University of Michigan.
