Thom Chiu, AIA

Thom joined the firm in 2021 and has since contributed to renovation projects for the Mellon Foundation and Ethical Culture Fieldston School, as well as a Design Competition for a Public Park. He is currently working on a townhouse renovation for an Upper East Side foundation. Thom is also a mentor with ACE Greater New York, leading high-school students through a semester long architectural project. His previous experience includes retail design and educational exhibition design in Chicago, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chongqing. He was the historic preservation fellow at Jay Heritage Center in 2021. He is also on the board of Good City Group, a nonprofit organization experimenting with hyperlocal urban interventions pushing for neighborhood accessibility in underserved neighborhoods in Chicago. Thom holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and an M.Arch from Columbia University.
