Kai Pedersen, AIA, Project Director

Kai joined ARO in 2012 and has since contributed to Congregation Beit Simchat Torah, managed The Flea Theater, and managed several projects at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. He also managed ARO’s Calvin Klein Madison Avenue Flagship Refresh and Renovation projects, the Calvin Klein Paris Showroom, and a second phase expansion of Harry’s Headquarters. He most recently led the study of an addition for The University of Virginia’s Campbell Hall, a planning study for Brown University, and Pace University’s 15 Beekman Street. He is currently overseeing the 195 District Park Pavilion in Providence, Blum Gallery in New York City, and new office spaces for a financial services firm in Philadelphia. Before ARO, he worked at Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects and Vir.Mueller Architects in New Delhi, India. Kai holds a B.Arch from the University of Texas at Austin.
