Matt Bohne, AIA
Matt joined the firm in 2017 and has since contributed to various projects, including a Calvin Klein renovation, a feasibility study for Columbia GSAPP, the Knoll New York Showroom and Office refresh, the University of Virginia’s Campbell Hall addition study, the Frederic Church Center, Mtn Hive, and managed the design of Barnard College Center for the Study of Child Development. Currently, Matt is managing the adaptive reuse of a bank building into a new arts and education hub for Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn. Matt’s diverse background encompasses architectural and graphic design, influenced by his training in painting, sculpture, book arts, large-scale installations, and scenic design for theater. His work has garnered recognition with exhibitions and publications in Architectural Review, the Cambridge Architectural Journal, the RISD Museum, the Dallas Museum of Art, and Documenta 14. Matt actively contributes to ARO’s involvement in the CityTech Pre-Internship Program. He holds a B.F.A/B.Arch from the Rhode Island School of Design and an M.Arch from Yale.
