Alissa Chastain

Alissa joined the firm in 2017 and has since contributed to The Frederic Church Center concept design, the University of Washington Tacoma’s Milgard Hall, Pace University’s 15 Beekman Street, and managed the Phase I renewal and campus expansion of the Rothko Chapel. She is currently working on a new building for the Rice University Jones School of Business, and managing Phase II of the Rothko Chapel campus projects. Before ARO, she worked with Behnisch Architekten and Bade Stageberg Cox. In addition to her work at ARO, she is a Lecturer at UC Berkeley where she teaches architecture studios. Alissa holds a B.A. in Architecture from Wellesley College and an M.Arch from Yale.
